New beginnings of the old
Are founded in goodbyes.
Changing, and yet still the same
Since true love never dies.
Like the seasons, life's in flux
As old comes to an end.
But on the chords and ties of truth
And bonds of love I can depend.
So though the future is unsure,
The world around me changing,
With my Savior I'll stand strong
And face with faith these new beginnings.
